Chris Wright Honored by University of Arkansas College of Engineering
Christopher Wright, co-founder and partner of Sullivan Wright Technologies, was honored with a Distinguished Alumni Award from the University of Arkansas College of Engineering during its annual awards ceremony. The event recognized alums whose professional accomplishments, leadership, and service have brought distinction to the college and the engineering profession.
Chris earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Arkansas in 1999. Before co-founding Sullivan Wright Technologies in 2019, he served as an IT security manager for Fortune 500 company FIS, a cyberspace operations officer in the U.S. Air Force Reserve, an information security engineer at The MITRE Corporation, and a communications officer in the U.S. Air Force. He is a member of the Arkansas Academy of Computing, the University of Arkansas Computer Science and Computer Engineering Academy, and the Computer Science Industry Advisory Boards for Arkansas Tech University and Southern Arkansas University Tech.
Chris’ work at Sullivan Wright Technologies reflects the strong engineering foundation he developed at the University of Arkansas and highlights the real-world impact of applied computer systems engineering. The Distinguished Alumni Award is presented to graduates who have achieved exceptional professional success while maintaining a strong connection to the values of the College of Engineering. His selection places him among a distinguished group of nine alumni recognized for advancing their fields and serving as role models for current and future engineering students.
The College of Engineering also inducted new members into its Hall of Fame and recognized additional graduates with Distinguished Alumni and Early Career Alumni Awards during the ceremony. Together, the honorees represent a wide range of engineering disciplines and career paths, underscoring the breadth and impact of the University of Arkansas engineering alum network.
